Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office in B&H was established by the Decision of the Council of Ministers in October 2004, following the recommendation of the Feasibility Study for B&H. Establishment of the Office was thus a response to the needs of citizens for a more efficient and more accountable public administration, capable to accept the obligations in the process of EU integration.

CIVIL SERVICE AGENCY

As part of its support to the BiH public administration reform the SPI Program assist the Civil Service Agency in expanding their training offer in areas that are of common interest to all civil servants. Topics for new training offers will be selected based on the Agency´s Training Needs Analysis carried out in 2012 and the provisions of the Revised Action Plan 1 of the Public Administration Reform Strategy.

DIRECTORATE FOR EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

The Directorate for European Integration (DEI) is an expert body of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The Directorate is coordinating the European integration process at the state level (horizontal coordination) and between the state institutions and entities (vertical coordination). It produces a variety of information, analyses, reports and strategic documents necessary for the integration process. In addition, DEI has a significant role in promoting and informing the public as to what the integration process signifies and entails

PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AGENCY OF B&H

Effective and transparent public procurement processes are crucial not only for BiH’s Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH, but also for the legitimacy of the State of BiH as a whole. Public procurement system in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been the focus of the international community for a relatively long time. Strengthening capacities of the Public Procurement Agency and the Procurement Review Body has been recognized as a vital element for the development of the overall public procurement system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
