The IT sector in BiH has taken a high position in the region, according to the experts from IDC Adriatics, who selected the best IT projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2014 on Thursday, 19 February 2015. With this recognition, IDC Adriatics, as a part of the leading global market intelligence and consultancy company in the area of IT and communications technologies, has acknowledged and rewarded individual achievements of institutions and organisations in the public and private sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last year.
The Civil Service Agency of BiH is especially pleased with the fact that the e-Learning project and TMS system iLearn.gov.ba entered the final selection for the three best projects implemented in the public sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last year, together with ITS (Intelligent Transport System), a system for supervision and management of the finished sections of motorway on corridor Vc in BiH, implemented by JP Autoceste FBIH d.o.o., and „Obnova Srpske“, an information portal concerning the activities of the Republika Srpska Government and the institutions in charge of rehabilitation of the effects caused by the floods from May 2014, which was implemented by the Secretariat General of the Republika Srpska Government.
The criteria for the nomination of the finalists and the selection of the best project were transparency, innovativeness, approach to management of changes, project cost effectiveness and methodology of project management and system development.
The Agency thanked the Programme for Strengthening of Public Institutions, without whose help, they say, this project could not have been implemented.
