As a part of the Programme for Strengthening of Public Institutions and organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, the inter-institutional group had its first meeting in Sarajevo today. The group members are public relations representatives from all nine institutions beneficiaries of the Programme.
This was an opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and good practices between the partner institutions of the Programme, and to plan future joint activities. This forum will also contribute to the achievement of individual objectives from the Revised Action Plan 1 of the Public Administration Reform Strategy in the area of institutional communication among individual institutions.
Based on the previous implementation of the Programme for Strengthening of Public Institutions in BiH and the cooperation with beneficiary institutions, the public relations and communication segment was recognised as one of the target areas for the development of inter-institutional cooperation, planning and implementation of joint activities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the GIZ, Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, and the institutions involved in the Programme: Agency for Statistics, Public Procurement Agency, Central Bank, Agency for Pre-primary, Primary, and Secondary Education, Directorate for European Integrations, Civil Service Agency, Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance and the Procurement Review Body.
