Mobile Application for e-Procurement in Bosnia and Herzegovina Launched

The Agency for Public Procurement of Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched a mobile application for electronic public procurement in BiH ”e-Procurement BiH”. This is one of the first mobile apps for e-procurement in the Western Balkans region and it is a great pleasure to present it to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, informed the Agency.

The app enables all the users to have full access to the public procurement market on the move, to be informed about all opportunities of interest via their mobile phones, and enables communication between the contracting bodies and bidders when it comes to providing clarification to the published tender documentation.

The mobile app is actually an extension of the Public Procurement Web Portal (, which has been tailored for smart phones and tablets and developed for IOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms.

The app enables registered and anonymous users to search the database of registered and active contracting bodies and bidders, as well as to search and download all published notifications of public procurement. Through this application, the registered bidders can download the tender documentation and ask for clarification, while the contracting bodies can provide answers. Moreover, it is possible to generate and download reports on tender documentation that has been collected as well as on clarification requests that have been made.

Also, a notification system has been implemented in the application and notifies the contracting bodies and bidders about the activities happening in the system.

The Agency for Public Procurement of BiH hereby also expresses its gratitude for the support of the Federal Government of Germany provided during the implementation of the e-procurement mobile app through the German GIZ within the Programme of Strengthening Public Institutions in BiH.
